Would You Make This Recipe Again?
Submitted by Joanne Keck. Adapted from “Reflections Under the Sun” Junior League of Phoenix
1 (1 pound) pork tenderloin
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
salt to taste
Marinate the pork in a mixture of the soy sauce, bourbon and brown sugar in a sealable plastic bag in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove the pork. Boil the marinade in a saucepan over high heat for 1 minute. Bake the pork at 325 degrees for 1 hour, basting often with the marinade. Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, green onion, vinegar and salt in a small bowl; mix well. Serve with the pork sliced with the mustard sauce on the side.
This is delicious, I have not boiled the marinade and served it with the pork though.
