Barbecued Ribs

“This is my Aunt Dell’s recipe. We usually have this on Christmas Eve.” – Joanne Keck

2- 3/12 # country style pork ribs
salt and pepper
1 onion, chopped
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 drops tabasco sauce
1 T. liquid smoke
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. chili sauce
3 T sugar
3/4 cup water

Place ribs in a baking pan and salt and pepper. Bake ribs uncovered at 325 degrees for about 45-60 minutes. Remove juices from the pan.

Combine rest of ingredients and pour sauce over ribs, cover, and bake for another 30-40 minutes or until ribs are very tender. Baste with sauce occasionally. Can be prepared in advance and reheated or frozen.
