1 C. sifted flour
1/4 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. chopped pecans
1/2 C. butter or margarine
2 egg whites
2/3 C. sugar
1 (10oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (almost thawed)
2 T. lemon juice
1 C. whipping cream
2 T. sugar

Combine flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans and butter. Stir and spread in shallow pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. Sprinkle 2/3 cup of the above crumbs into a 9×13 pan and chill. Combine egg whites and 2/3 C. sugar, frozen berries and 2 T. lemon juice. Put in a large mixer and beat on high to stiff peaks. (about 10 min.). Whip cream adding 2 T. sugar during whipping. Fold cream into strawberry mixture. Spread over chilled crumbs and top with remaining crumbs. Freeze overnight.
