Would You Make This Recipe Again?
This was a staple meal in our house growing up. Still to this day if I’m in the mood for a hearty meal that’s quick to prepare, this recipe always comes to mind. If you’ve got fresh mushrooms on hand swap them out for the canned ones to dress it up a little.
1 lb. ground beef
1 med onion chopped
2 T. flour
1 t. salt
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 t. pepper
1 8oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 C. dairy sour cream
In large skillet cook ground beef and onion till onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 min stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in soup; simmer uncovered 10 min. Stir in sour cream; heat through. Serve over egg noodlesBeef Stroganoff,
